First of all… what does wellness mean? Wellness is not one of those modern freshly invented words, nor a passing trend. The wellness state is both a desire and a need of the modern and well informed man who, under the conditions of an urban chaotic lifestyle, looks for balance in the mind-body relationship. Wellness is, if you wish, a real lifestyle indeed!

WHY I CHOSE TO BE (ALSO A) WELLNESS COACH

I chose to be a wellness coach mainly because, with the help of my studies and professional experience, I can offer to my clients personalized programs aimed to: maximize their physical and mental performance, get them to know their goals and skills better and overcome their limitations of any kind. In fact, wellness is about this: the evolution of a man to a better version of himself, physically and mentally!

According to a recent study conducted by ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) fitness coaches with studies and experience are currently representing a keyword in the field. Same are personal trainers. The searches made on Internet show that these two profiles generated double searches compared to last year. People are interested to improve their lives, to put some order in their activities and they need a specialist to guide them. This is precisely what I can do for you!

5 REASONS WHY YOU NEED A WELLNESS LIFESTYLE

  1. Active and well-organized people are more protected against cardiovascular diseases, chronic diseases and cancer than sedentary people with chaotic lifestyles.
  2. The total unfortunate combination between a sedentary life and chaotic eating guarantees obesity, high levels of cholesterol and blood sugar, hypertension and diabetes. From here, of course, derive other secondary diseases.
  3. You can put order in your thoughts and life, literally. Although you may not believe, you really are capable to get to efficiently organize your activities and priorities so that you have time for work and for your own person!
  4. You raise the quality of interaction with those around you. From coworkers to friends and family. Because you have more time available to listen to them, because you’re calmer and more confident in what you do overall.
  5. Because when you get the results for which you work hard, you become an example to those around you. I am convinced that you would like to be given as an example!

 

WHICH ARE THE KEYWORDS IN ACHIEVING A WELLNESS LIFESTYLE?

As long as your efforts are closely coordinated by a specialist, nothing from what you will do will not exceed your powers. The keywords for achieving a state of wellness would be many and I would divide them into two categories:

Keywords before experiencing wellness: efficiency, perseverance, patience, ambition, goals, honesty.
Keywords after you begin to experience wellness: organization, balance, contentment, health, energy, endurance, efficiency.

 

WHEN DO YOU KNOW YOU HAVE REACHED YOUR GOALS?

First of all, promise to yourself to be consistent, ambitious, hardworking and honest. Get ready for an exercise routine, a healthy attitude which must be respected daily, plus some patience. 

When you do any exercise suitable for you without getting tired, when you are capable to manage stressful situations without letting yourself overwhelmed, when food becomes a healthy pleasure and not a daily obsession and when, besides all these, you feel at peace with yourself and the way you look… you can say that, at last, you have reached the goal of living a wellness lifestyle.
